Cindy Makhathini Drags Jackie Phamotse After Wild “DM’ing My Husband” Claim

The girls are fighting — and it’s spicy! Social media baddie Cindy Makhathini has clapped back at author Jackie Phamotse after Jackie publicly accused her of sliding into her husband’s DMs.

It all kicked off when an X account posing as Cindy dropped some hot pictures, prompting a thirsty comment from a fan. Out of nowhere, Jackie jumped in on Wednesday, 24 September, posting: “If she stays out of my husband’s DMs, that would be great.”

And just like that, the internet was on fire.

Cindy Makhathini Comes With Receipts

Not one to let a rumour breathe, Cindy went straight to Jackie’s DMs on Instagram to demand answers. Screenshots posted on X by social media users show Cindy confronting Jackie directly:

“I don’t even mess with people’s husbands. Where did you get this information? That is the least of my problems. First of all, I don’t know you or your husband for you to write false information about me like this on a public platform.”

Cindy even challenged Jackie to post proof of these alleged DMs. Jackie, however, played it cool(ish), replying: “No need to be defensive… I saw what I saw, that’s all. Sending someone DMs doesn’t constitute being uncouth. But there’s the POPIA Act, and I’m not a gossip blog. Don’t see why I should entertain you.”

Cindy Doubles Down

But Cindy wasn’t done. In a video posted on X the next day, she laughed off the allegations, saying she doesn’t even know Jackie — let alone her man.

“I do not know this woman. I have never seen her anywhere, and I know nothing about her. So how would I know who her husband is? Imagine! Me, slide into someone’s DMs? That takes a lot from a woman. I cannot do that.”

The streets of X are siding with Cindy. One user wrote: “The Cindy Makhathini account on Twitter isn’t her account. If that’s the account DM’ing Phamotse’s husband, it’s not Cindy, shame.”

Another dragged Jackie for filth: “She dared to go on a public platform and say that nonsense, now she’s hiding behind Popi?”

Looks like Jackie might need to drop those receipts real quick — because right now, Mzansi is calling cap.
