Child Rapist Bags Life Imprisonment
A 51-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the horrific rape of a six-year-old boy in the Osizweni area on the KZN North Coast.
The incident occurred in June 2023, and the accused was found guilty of luring the child to his house under false pretenses before committing the heinous crime.

A Brutal Crime
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson, Natasha Ramkisson-Kara, revealed that the accused had built a relationship with the child before the incident, making the crime even more disturbing.

The child suffered severe internal and external injuries, and the medical report presented in court showed the extent of the physical harm inflicted.

In addition to life imprisonment, the accused was also declared unfit to possess a firearm and was ordered to register as a sex offender.
