Shamiso vehemently denies any wrongdoing, stating that she was not vulgar, inappropriate, disruptive, or disrespectful to anyone on the plane.
She expressed her frustration at being asked to leave a flight she had paid for, calling the attendant “racist” and questioning why she was being targeted.
Cemair’s Response
Cemair, in their official statement, described the incident differently. Without directly naming Shamiso, the airline claimed that a late boarded passenger became unruly and abusive, refusing to follow the instructions of the cabin crew member.

They stated that the captain intervened and attempted to reason with the passenger, but when unsuccessful, the matter was handed over to the South African Police Service, resulting in her removal from the aircraft.

Fellow TV personality Bridget Masinga tweeted: “What the hell did I just watch? Cemair, you should be ashamed of the discrimination and conduct of your crew assisted by SAPS inflicted on Shamiso. That young lady is owed a sincere public apology for the very public humiliation.”
