“Moruti Cassper Nyovest” Shocks Mzansi With Preaching Sermon At Scorpion Kings Show

South Africans were left wide-eyed after Cassper Nyovest unexpectedly turned the Scorpion Kings show at Loftus Versfeld Stadium into a mini church service. The Amapiano-filled event hosted by Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa on Friday, 29 August 2025, was supposed to be nothing but vibes and grooves — but Cassper had other plans.

The stadium was on fire, the lineup was stacked with Africa’s biggest acts, and fans were ready to party till sunrise. But when Moruti Cassper Nyovest took the mic, the mood shifted.

Instead of hyping the crowd with bars or hits, Nyovest dropped a preaching sermon mid-groove, leaving thousands of fans confused.

Some even joked that Cassper should’ve passed around the collection basket because he had fully transformed into a Sunday service pastor. One fan commented:
