N2 Closed as Police Launch Major Investigation
The N2 was completely shut down by SAPS and Metro Police following the incident to allow investigators to process the scene and gather evidence.
Motorists have been urged to steer clear of the area and use alternative routes while investigations continue. Authorities are now working to establish the full sequence of events that led to the robbery and explosion.
No arrests have been announced at this stage.
