Busiswa Takes Baby Daddy DJ Kaygee To Court Over Child Support “A Mother Shouldn’t Raise A Child Alone!”

Sis said enough is enough! Mzansi hitmaker Busiswa Gqulu is taking her baby daddy Katlego “DJ Kaygee The Vibe” Mlangeni to maintenance court.

The Breakup That Broke the Bank

Busiswa and Kaygee welcomed their baby boy back in 2018, but their relationship took a hard left in 2019. And according to sources, the breakup wasn’t just messy — it was a full-blown drama series.

Word is, Kaygee allegedly walked in on Busiswa and her friend DJ Themba “Marc” Kubheka in bed at his crib. He didn’t mince words either, saying in a past interview:

“I found them having sex on the same bed I sleep on every day… I took a snippet of the video because I could tell they heard me come in. Then I started physically fighting Marc.”

While Kaygee admitted to confronting Marc physically, he denied ever laying hands on Busiswa.

Baby Mama, Big Battles — Busiswa Takes It to Court

Fast forward to 2025, and now Busiswa is reportedly fed up and taking Kaygee to maintenance court. A source close to the situation spilled the rooibos, telling Zimoja:

“He is a DJ and producer, and his work depends on bookings. He hasn’t been doing well financially… But regardless of his situation, Busiswa has the right to take him to court. A mother shouldn’t have to raise a child alone.”

We heard sis filed the papers last week, and at this point, no one even remembers the last time a papgeld payment came through.

And when approached for comment, her manager Bulie Nazo wasn’t giving anything away: “We don’t discuss personal matters. I manage her career, not her personal life.”

When Public Figures Don’t Pay

This latest chapter in the Busiswa-Kaygee saga reveals a bigger convo happening across South Africa: fathers ducking their responsibilities while mothers carry the load. And while Kaygee’s gig hustle might not be popping right now, Mzansi isn’t here for excuses.

The Ngonku hitmaker’s bold move is being praised by many, especially single mothers who are tired of the silence and double standards — fame or no fame.
