A cry is made by our South African women about the challenges they face with big breasts, and that medical cover is much needed for such operations and medication. Women are struggling with these big breasts and want to get rid of them.
It became the talk of the week when Goodluck lead singer Juliet Harding shared her experience.
Eyewitness News spoke to Harding who said the surgery went well and she was recovering well after her breast reduction operation.
“I am doing a great job and my session went well. I am already up and about, and l am recovering fast”.
This surgery is considered a cosmetic one by medical aids and is not covered by schemes.
In reality, too many women in South Africa are that large breasts lead to neck, shoulder and back pain and as our famous Harding elaborated.
As the vocalist took to social media last week and said she needed to have the breast reduction operation as she was in pain, but she had to cover her bill herself.
“Clearly these rules have been written by men because if they had half an idea of what its like and how debilitating the pain can be, then l don’t think this would be the case, ”she said in the post.
