Boity’s Perfume Flops So Hard, Now Cheaper Than Kota At Clicks

Boity’s Perfume Flops So Hard, Now Cheaper Than Kota At Clicks

Haaibo! how the mighty have fallen! Boity Thulo once had the streets screaming “Boss Babe Goals” when she launched her Pink Sapphire perfume back in 2020.

Retailing at a hot R600, the fragrance was hyped as a luxury scent for the girls who wanted to smell rich, empowered, and expensive. Fast forward to 2025? The same perfume is sitting on Clicks shelves at a dusty R99.

Yup, yiu read that right. R99. That’s basically the same price as a Kota without policy or cheese in Sandton.

Boity’s Pink Sapphire was meant to be her “boss babe” stamp in the fragrance world.

Instead, it seems to have followed the same path as her slimming pills (remember those?) and her BT Signature drinks (that one time she thought she was Bonang).

Mzansi Is Ruthless

X users and IG hunz didn’t hold back. The shade was heavier than Boity’s BBL:

  • @Bra_Sporo: “The problem with our celebrities is they wanna charge Chanel prices but give us Clicks specials. Make it make sense.”
  • @Gert_LeNinja: “Boity thought being famous = instant sales. Sis forgot marketing is an actual job.”
  • @VusiThanga: “Maybe podcasting is her lane. This business thing is showing flames.”
  • @TiredOfWorking8: “Go to her page right now… zero perfume posts. You’d swear the thing never existed.”
  • @LeratoMogash: “She had slimming pills, then gained weight and got surgery. Perfume with no marketing. Alcohol that doesn’t even compete with BNG. Accountability, please.”
  • @Spicy_Ntokozo: “From Wuz Dat to Who Buys That?” 💀
  • @ThabisoRealness: “At this point, the perfume costs less than her wigs.”
  • @SlayQueenNoni_: “She should’ve sold it as room spray. Maybe then it would’ve moved.” 💅🏾
  • @Xhosa_Gawd: “BNG is out here selling out while Pink Sapphire is chilling next to hand sanitiser on sale. Tragic.”

The Bigger Question

Boity has dipped her hands into slimming pills, haircare, alcohol, perfume… and now all of them are flopping harder than her rap career after “Wuz Dat.”

Fans are starting to wonder if sis is really built for this mogul life, or if she’s just chasing “boss babe aesthetics” without doing the work.

Because if you launch a R600 perfume and it’s going for R99 two years later, babes… that’s not luxury, that’s liquidation.
