According to reports, Boity’s luxury Gauteng home, which she bought for over R4.2 million, is now at the centre of a legal battle that could end with the property being auctioned off if things go left.

Boity Thulo’s Home Loan Drama 

Here’s the tea: Boity allegedly financed the plush Centurion property through Leemark Financial Services back in 2021, with the house officially registered under her name in March 2022. While she reportedly paid a hefty R3.7 million, court documents claim there’s still an unpaid balance of just under R500,000 hanging over her head.

Leemark Financial Services has now reportedly approached the Johannesburg High Court, asking for judgment after claiming that Boity failed to settle the outstanding amount despite several attempts to reach her. If the court rules in their favour, the company could move to attach — and auction — the house.

From First-Time Homeowner to Court Threats

What makes this situation even more wild is that Boity has always been vocal about what home ownership means to her. She bought her first property back in 2016 at just 26 years old and openly spoke about the responsibility and discipline that comes with owning a home.

Fast forward to now, and while fans have recently seen her living it up on a luxe Dubai getaway, the legal papers paint a far less glamorous picture. The lender claims Boity hasn’t responded to legal correspondence and that they’re pushing ahead with a default judgment.
