With the crowd on their feet, Dube emotionally shared that his season with the group had come to a graceful end.

“I have done all that I was supposed to do in Spirit of Praise,” he said. The applause? Deafening.

His heartfelt departure was later confirmed in an official statement dated 14 April 2025, which read:

“After much prayer, reflection, and conversation with key stakeholders, Rev. Benjamin Dube wishes to officially announce his departure from the Spirit of Praise Collective.”
