Jakes’ daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband, Toure Roberts, co-pastors at ONE | A Potter’s House Church in Los Angeles, updated followers via Instagram later that evening.

“By the grace of God, Bishop is doing well. He’s recovering under medical care, and we can’t thank you enough for your prayers,” said Toure Roberts. Sarah Jakes Roberts added, “It’s a reminder to love and cherish those close to you, especially during this holiday season.”
