South African media personality Ayanda Thabethe is officially off the market — now going by Mrs Ayanda Matsimbe after tying the knot with her long-time scandalous businessman bae, Peter Matsimbe.

Ayanda dropped the bombshell on Friday, July 4, when she took to Instagram to share a touching wedding reel. The bride captioned her post with poetic romance:

“In front of God and surrounded by love, we signed a promise that began long before pen met paper,” Ayanda Thabethe Matsimbe.

She revealed their private union took place last Sunday, June 29, after four years of dating — and the comment section? Let’s just say the streets weren’t quiet.

Peter Matsimbe, the man of the moment (and now, husband), isn’t exactly controversy-free. According to Sunday World, the businessman has been dodging fraud charges like he’s in a high-speed car chase — and Mzansi is not letting it slide.

He’s reportedly wanted by the South African Police Service for allegedly submitting fraudulent documents to secure loans for 10 luxury vehicles, which he purchased via his company, Matsimbe and Co.
