Skolopad Announces She Has been Diagnosed With Bipolar Disorder

Let me re-introduce myself. My name is Qwabe Nonhlanhla I have Bipolar disorder I’ve been in a denial stage for 10 years but today again I was re-diagnosed by my new psychologist

Zodwa Wabantu’s competitor, Skolopad has come out to say she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Something she has suspected for years and had been denying the effects and living in denial for a little over 10 years now.

She went on social media to make the announcement and to request support and prayers from fans and friends alike. She said she would be needing the prayers and support because she plans on staying indoors and out of the public eye for weeks to come as she comes on terms with her diagnosis.

Skolopad took to her social media pages to reintroduce herself and make the said announcement saying;

“Let me re-introduce myself. My name is Qwabe Nonhlanhla I have Bipolar disorder I’ve been in a denial stage for 10 years but today again I was re-diagnosed by my new psychologist. Please don’t feel sorry for me but support me with your prayer as my levels are now uncontrollable. Skin treatment makes it worse and I get triggered by small things. I’ll be locked in for two to three weeks,” she shared.

A lot of fans, friends and families have stood by her and replied to her comment with positive words and give their words of encouragement to the Actress. They have sent comforting words to her, knowing she’s been battling some challenges.

This would not be the first time she is facing a major personal challenge. About three years ago, she was involved in a fatal car crash and was lucky enough to survive but left her with facial and body scars.

From surviving a major car crash and now to battling depression and getting to embrace her scars, to skin irritation due to a nose mask, the actress has seen her fair share of personal challenges and her supporters could not help but sympathize with her.
