62-Year-Old Parolee Arrested or Allegedly Raping Daughter

A 62-year-old man, who was serving on parole, has been arrested after allegedly raping his 20-year-old biological daughter in their home.
The incident occurred on Saturday, and the suspect was apprehended by members of the Lebowakgomo Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offenses (FCS) unit on Tuesday.
According to police reports, the victim was at home and asleep when her father entered her bedroom while naked. He threatened her and then raped her.
The victim reported the incident to her stepmother, who subsequently informed the police. The FCS unit launched an investigation, and the 20-year-old woman underwent a medical examination, which confirmed the sexual assault.

The accused father, previously incarcerated for an unrelated case in Lebowakgomo, is expected to appear before the Thabamoopo District Court on charges of rape.
Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, condemned the incident, emphasizing that parents should protect, not harm, their children. Justice is sought for the victim, and the suspect faces permanent removal from the community.
