61-Year-Old Woman Stabbed By Grandson In Mountview

A 61-year-old woman was brutally stabbed in the neck by her 22-year-old grandson at their home in Mountview, KwaZulu-Natal, on Sunday afternoon.
The suspect, allegedly a drug addict, demanded money from his grandmother to purchase narcotics, and when she refused, he attacked her with a knife.

Neighbors Provide Life-Saving Assistance
The victim was found by Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) officers with a scarf bound around her neck to control the bleeding.

Her clothes were soaked in blood, and she was rushed to the hospital after neighbors provided first aid and expedited her to receive medical attention.
