Six South African Flotilla Activists Detained By Israel Safely Arrive In Jordan — DIRCO Confirms

Six South African nationals who were detained by Israeli forces while taking part in a humanitarian flotilla bound for Gaza have now reached Jordan safely, according to the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO).
The activists were among more than 400 participants from across the world who were intercepted while attempting to deliver aid to Gaza by sea. Israeli authorities later informed DIRCO of their release.
