Six Dead, Eight Seriously Injured In Devastating Taxi And SUV Collision Near Dullstroom, Mpumalanga

Six people have tragically lost their lives, and eight others were seriously injured after a horrific crash involving a minibus taxi and a sports utility vehicle (SUV) near Dullstroom, close to Belfast in Mpumalanga.
According to the Provincial Department of Community Safety, Security, and Liaison, investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
Department spokesperson Moeti Mmusi confirmed that the driver of the minibus taxi sustained only minor injuries in the collision, which occurred on Sunday afternoon.
Authorities Probe Cause of Deadly Dullstroom Accident In Mpumalanga
Mmusi explained that the crash happened when “a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and a minibus taxi collided in a side swipe collision on Sunday afternoon.”
He added, “Six of the deceased were all passengers in the minibus taxi. The eight people sustained serious injuries and they include seven passengers in the minibus taxi and the driver of the SUV.”

Officials have urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads as investigations continue into the cause of the deadly collision.
