A new soldier has gone viral, two years after the South African military brought the timeline to a halt with a video of a recruit failing at multiple duties.
Thousands of soldiers have been deployed to the streets to suppress potential violence and recover looted goods from earlier this month’s turmoil, so you may see them in your neighbourhood. One social media user did and witnessed a soldier attempting to get onto a military transport.
In a video of the incident that was uploaded on social media this week, a fellow soldier can be seen attempting to help his struggling friend while others look on.
After a number of tries they both eventually give up.

The video elicited strong emotions online, with many criticizing how “unfit” the soldier appeared to be and questioning whether the military’s selection requirements were stringent enough.
Others said that judging the entire military based on a single soldier’s performance was unfair.

So you are going to judge the whole of SANDF ( Air Force, Navy and Millitary) by a few Millitary personnel?

I guess physical fitness is no longer a job requirement for the army!!
