The distressed baby mama who spoke to Sunday World said she and King Monada called it quits in 2013 due to family issues. She went on to open up that the singer actually contributes R500 as maintenance for the child. However, this amount is no longer enough to take care of the child’s needs as she has been previously supplementing it with NSFAS.

“I was getting this fund when I was a student at the Tshwane University of Technology, but because I finished last year and I’m now unemployed, the amount he gives me is no longer enough to support our child,” she said.

She then approached the singer in a civilised manner to request him to add an extra R700 on top of what he gives them which would have added up to R1 200. The singer angrily refused to top up the money saying not only is it too exorbitant but that will also amount to extortion and he can’t afford it.

That left his baby mama with no option but to run to Ritavi magistrate’s court in Nkowankowa to open a maintenance case against him. Unfortunately, she was faced with injustice as she said: “The court officials told us to come on April 19 and when we arrived, he told them that he could only afford R500 a month.

“They then told me to bring my bank statement and also told him to bring both his personal and business statements to compare our incomes at our second appearance on April 26.”

To her shock, King Monada rocked up with his legal team, who told court officials that the musician, who raked in millions of rand through gigs and royalties, could only afford R500 a month.

Now the baby mama is out there seeking help with no one to assist her…

Someone care to explain to us how he has that car, but not enough money to send to his kid? Logic in this, anyone? Anyone?
