Capcom showcased a lot of Resident Evil Village stuff during its latest display including details about Netflix’s animated series but for those who’re waiting for the next entry in the series, they should more concerned with when they’ll be able to play the game.
However, Capcom showed that there will be Resident Evil Village demos available, all of which are time limited, and only playable during specific windows so, you can schedule yourself so you don’t miss out.
Players who already have a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, or even both are all set with a 30 minute demo of the ‘Village’ environment available for about 8hours starting on April 17th at 8 PM ET. A 30 minute ‘Castle’ demo will come to PlayStation owners for the same 8hour window on April 24th.
For those who will like to try out the survival horror game for a longer time, they’ll be able to do so on all platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and Stadia … when 60 minute demos allowing access to both environments are released on May 1st.
Certainly, they will be playable for 24 hours, beginning from 8 PM ET, and also pre-downloads are available on PlayStation, it started yesterday. Meanwhile, the game is coming to all platforms on May 7th.
There was also announcement that the arcade-style Mercenaries Mode will be a part of Village and a crossover event with Dead by Daylight. And Capcom is working with Armature Studio on a first-person VR port of Resident Evil 4 that will appear exclusively on the Oculus Quest 2 headset, but gamers will wait for a while, at least until Facebook’s event on April 21st to get more information.
