We’re being taken down the memory when Euphonik and Bonang were the hottest couple in Mzansi. However, their relationship ended on a sour note after claims of physical abuse surfaced and things turned really sour after that.
And today fans are ready to talk about the incident and it seems like they all regretting that they once sided with Euphonik. Just to fill you in on their story in case you missed all the drama: In 2012 Bonang applied for a permanent protection order against the DJ at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court. She showed the world her bruised face after saying that he was the one that beat her up.

Bonang also wrote about her abusive incidents in her new tell-all book titled A-B. In the book, she breaks down in details how DJ Euphonik used to mistreat her while they were in a relationship years ago.
Euphonik read the book and finally posted on Twitter implying that Bonang is just a home-wrecking liar that took drugs before she wrote her book. His tweet read: “Let me take drugs, Cry, Wolf. Accuse and lie about people. Believe my own lies. Wreck some homes, take more drugs then write a book.”
In 2017 again Euphonik came out to defend himself when Bonang laughed at Euphonik for being involved in Marie Claire’s in Her Shoes’ campaign. He went on to write a statement about their relationship and abuse allegations against him this time he claimed she was the one abusing him.
“On the night of the alleged abuse, we had a heated argument. I had turned to leave when she tried to stop me. I pushed her body away from me and walked out. She was not injured when I left so I can’t comment about where her facial wounds came from as I was not there to witness that,” he explained.
“She had later dropped charges on her own account without any interference or pressure from me, despite the belief by many that I had something to do with that decision. It was hers and her legal teams’ decision to make and not mine. We also did not settle out of court nor did I pay her to drop charges. We did, however, reunite shortly after the incident believing we had put it behind us,” he wrote.

Now that Euphonik name has surfaced in another gender-based-violence allegation, Mzansi think it not a coincidence that his name popped up. Taking to social media they went to remind each other how they failed Queen B by not believing at the said time. Rubbing it in the DJ’s face they reminded him of the incident all over again.
And he went on to say… So that people will not believe Bonang 😢😢 pic.twitter.com/uzyStsg9Eq

I can’t believe Euphonik assaulted Bonang and everybody carried on like it was business as usual. He even went as far as to paint her as an aggressor.

You said your hands never harmed Bonang but she was visibly beaten up. You don’t exactly have a good reputation in being honest about the abuse you inflict on women. https://t.co/TvrfCbr9aC
