It has been a year and a few months since the sad news of what used to be Mzansi’s power couple broke out. Who can ever forget the drama that surrounded Enhle Mbali and Black Coffee’s divorce?
Many can remember it like it was yesterday. The social media streets were messy and tabloids had all versions to tell about the divorce. Black Coffee and Enhle got engaged in 2010. They then had a traditional wedding a year later and a glamorous white wedding in 2017. In 2019 we sadly witnessed their marriage falling apart.
Early in that year, a picture of DJ Black Coffee with David Guetta’s ex-wife, Cathy Lobé sent the rumour mill into overdrive. The social media timelines were filled with this news. However, Black Coffee denied the rumours saying there was nothing going on between them.
In August 2019, Enhle sparked a strong debate after an interview she did with DJ Zinhle, in which they addressed taking back their cheating partners and the actress cried out bitterly saying: “Personally, for me, cheating is an issue, but not as big as the fact that a person sat in front of you and lied to your face every single day.”
In November the mother of two confirmed that she was divorcing her husband. Taking to Instagram, Enhle asked for privacy for the sake of their children. “It has been a very, very, very rough year, but I still stand tall and proud. It is indeed a situation that no-one wants to see themselves in, but here we are,” she added.
Now again the star has taken to her Instagram to reflect to the shaky month of November 2019. “23 November 2019… I do for me the unthinkable, I owned my body, spirit and mind. I was reborn. Happier wiser and all-round “I was who I thought I was”. To growth !! Happy Friday”

We know how Enhle has always spoken out on how she lost herself during her marriage. We glad that she’s now stronger and has found herself again.
