On Monday the country was hit with the sad news of the passing of the talented actress Lindiwe Ndlovu. Condolences flooded the social media timelines but Manaka Ranaka didn’t immediately comment on the star’s untimely death.
Lynne Higgins of Gaenor Artiste Management, her agent said that the 45-year-old veteran actress died in her sleep. Lynne said Lindiwe died after suffering from health complications, but wouldn’t speculate whether her death was related to Covid-19.
“It’s been a very difficult day. She passed this morning. She had medical issues, high blood pressure and so on. She apparently had trouble breathing and passed away in her sleep. I do not know if her death was related to Covid-19,” she said.
On Tuesday, Manaka took to her Instagram to pay tribute to Lindiwe. Posting a pic of she and the late actress, the Generations: The Legacy expressed that she was broken-hearted by the passing of industry colleague. “Nooooooo man. I’m so heartbroken. Rest Gatsheni, lala ngoxolo Boya BeNyathi.”
