Scary moment for Peter Mashigo… The Queen star was involved in a nearly fatal crash on his way to Benoni from Pretoria that wrecked his car, however, SurgeZirc SA has learned that all passengers including Mashigo survived.

However, Peter is was the only one who got seriously injured and he is currently battling for his life at Sunshine private hospital. According to Sunday World, the actor and his buddies were on their way to a friend’s party when he lost control of the car and it collided with another one.

A family member said the car that was overtaking lost control and bumped into his car head-on. Mashigo has been absent on the set of The Queen for weeks now since the accident, and producers are still faced with the task of how to bring him back to the show with regards to all his injuries sustained.

“I am sure they will give him some time to heal so that he can come back in good shape,” added the source. But another member of the production team said the producers were now exploring the possibility of incorporating the accident into the storyline to accommodate Mashigo’s condition and avoid further delays to production.

The Ferguson’s productions was faced with a lot of criticism after it had decided to take him back after removing him from The Throne. . He was accused of assaulting a woman and he was caught on tape which went viral.

That was his second incident, as he had physically abused another woman before.
Mashigo this year had a short stint on Gomora at the time of the video he was on The Throne which is a Ferguson Film production.

Rami Chuene who acted on The Queen and is currently beefing The Fergusons without naming the actor took to Twitter to add her opinion on the actor being rehired by the production.

“Man (actor) beats up woman, video goes viral. Production fires man cos they are against GBV (read cornered). Jikijiki same production casts/rewards same man on another show of theirs, with a bigger role,” Rami wrote.
