The Premier Soccer League (PSL) 2019/20 season awards were dished out Thursday night. Unsurprisingly Mamelodi Sundowns came away with the top honours with the likes on Themba Zwane.

The midfielder, Zwane walked away with three major awards. He took the prestigious Player of the Year award.

He also won the midfielder of the year award and completed his hattrick by being chosen as Players’ Player of the year by his peers.

Zwane’s former coach, Pitso Mosimane, now with Al Ahly in Egypt, has been named coach of the year for a record third year in a row.

This week they are prepared to take on Soweto giant Kaizer Chief to kick-start the 2020/21 season as their first game. Both teams were competing for ABSA Premiership until last day.
