The former Public Protector Prof Thuli Madonsela is calling upon President Cyril Ramaphosa to intervene in the state of chaos in Nigeria. This following armies shooting protestors.
Prof Madonsela said Ramaphosa as chair of African Union (AU) must intervene to promulgate union’s promise of silencing the guns in Africa by 2020.
She added that for as long there is still injustice somewhere, meaning that there will not be sustained peace anywhere in African.

“The state orchestrated in Nigeria is our problem. Let’s also remember the AU commitment to stop the guns in Africa by 2020,” Madonsela said.
Prof made a pleading call for President Ramaphosa to urgently intervene in the state of disorder in Nigeria.
However, following protests in Lagos in Nigeria the shooting led to killing of many young people who were demanding constitutional mandate to be delivered by the President Buhari.
On the other side, the EFF is calling upon Nigeria to keep on fighting against suppression from government since post-colonial era till today. The party said they support young sisters lions for their stance to face the state of government in their country.
