Robert Marawa who is loved by many for his presenting skills is currently struggling financially. On Sunday Mansi learnt of the sports presenter’s misfortune.
According to Sunday World, the popular sports presenter has lost his BMW after failing to take back his car in time from BMW Midrand.
BMW took the car to a storage company, who are now demanding R200 000 from Marawa before they can give him back the car.
The report further states that the storage company, Abandoned solution has already registered the car in their name.
It wasn’t immediately clear when his financial problems began, he might be affected by the covid-19 financial effect or it can also be that being out of SuperSport payroll hit him hard.
The sports presenter was fired earlier this year and shook Twitter when he told his followers that he was fired through an SMS. However, he then went on to start his own YouTube channel which he has failed to monetise till date. Which simply means that though Robert has 60 500 followers he is not making a dime from his popular sports show.
