Rhythm City Actor Jesse Suntele is celebrating his 28th birthday today. Jesse Suntele is an actor, model and singer, he’s not just a pretty face, he is extremely talented and is making a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
Jesse Suntele was born in Johannesburg and his family later moved to Bloemfontein when he was in Grade 4. His mother is Xhosa and his father Tswana, and he was raised by his single mother together with his two siblings.
He attended St Joseph’s Christian Brothers College and upon finishing school he moved to Joburg to study sound engineering at the Academy of Sound Engineering.
Jesse discovered his love for acting whilst he was still in school where he participated in many of the school plays which were done.
In the year 2013 in June he entered SABC 1’s reality show “U Can Do It. In the year 2014 he made a TV appearance on the final season of Ngempela which is a documentary drama.
In 2015 Suntele landed a guest role on SABC 1’s Generations and later landed the role of Kabelo on E.TV’s Ashes to Ashes season 1 and 2.
2016 he starred as a guest on SABC 1’s youth drama called Mutual Friends on season. He then won an award for Top Actor Africa on season on Black Entertainment Television Network.
Upon his debut on Black Entertainment Television Network, he was an insert presenter and was later promoted to being one of the four anchors on the show.
Jesse appeared on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen where he played the role of Tuelo. He later took part on Vuzu Amp’s reality contest series titled The Hustle (season2) and that is where he got his stage name J-Flo.
In 2018 he joined E.TV’s Rhythm City where he plays the role of Nqaba a lawyer and the son of Suffocate Ndlovu.
The actor has also released music as J-Flo and his songs are titled “High by the beach” and “Outta town”.
