TS Galaxy Joins PLS After Official Purchase Of Highlands Parks

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the purchase of the Highlands Park’s status by TS Galaxy. During the season of 2020/21 PSL will no longer featuring Highlands Parks.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the purchase of the Highlands Park’s status by TS Galaxy. During the season of 2020/21 PSL will no longer featuring Highlands Parks.

So far only two big teams in PSL has sold their status including the Bidvest Wits to TTM a limpopo based football club.

However, TS Galaxy have announced that they have officially purchased Highlands Park’s Premier Soccer League status. Galaxy will use Mbombela Stadium as their home ground.

Another change will see Mabhuti Khenyeza taking over as head coach of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) team.

“The Rockets are proud to welcome former Bidvest Wits player and goalkeeper coach, Tyron Damons who will be heading up the goalkeeping department,” the club added.

In additional, Veteran defender, Thabo Nthethe, who signed with the club last season will now serve as the team manager.

He is the one who captained the club in his last professional match in TS Galaxy colours in a win against Uthongathi FC in the last match off the season.

As the only club from the Mpumalanga province competing in the Premiership, the Rockets will make use of the iconic Mbombela Stadium as their home venue for the upcoming season.
