Former The Queen Actress Dineo Langa and Loyiso MacDonald are super close you would swear they are siblings in real life. The two have formed a formidable bond on and off-screen. Dineo recently took to social media to wish Loyiso a happy birthday.

The two actors have played the role of brother and sister on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen, where Dineo played the role of Keabetswe and Loyiso who still plays the role of kagiso. The actress recently took to social media to write a sweet birthday message to Loyiso.

“One of my favourite people in the world has a birthday today. I love you very much. Happy birthday bhut’wam, you know I’ve got you for life and always want the best for you. Proud of whom you’re becoming. Proud to be your sister o kwe nyani. Hope your day has been awesome,” she wrote.

Loyiso who is well known for his role as Kagiso Khoza on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen was born on the 7th of September 1986 in the Eastern Cape. After finishing high school he didn’t know what he wanted to do with his life, so he worked at a bank and also at a telecommunications call centre.

Upon realizing that he didn’t find fulfilment in the job that he was doing, he went through a process of elimination in the year 2007. Whilst he was finding himself and searching for what to do next with his life in KwaZulu-Natal, he decided to go straight into the theatre scene.

MacDonald decided to go and study Speech and Dram at the Durban Film School and during that time he was also working at the Durban Theatre for a period of four years. Before relocating to Johannesburg in the year 2011 he started performing at the iZulu Theatre at Sibaya Casino in KZN.

The Actor has had the opportunity to of acting in plays which range from drama, comedy, physical theatre and Shakespeare. We have seen him feature in Kiss of the Spider Woman, Othello, Man Up a Tree and Escape from Nombiland. In the year 2012 he joined the cast of SABC 3’s Isidingo, where he played the role of Ntando Sibeko. We have also seen him feature as one of the main characters on Mzansi Wethu’s Zabalaza, where he played the role of a bad boy.

At the age of 26 years old he tied the knot with his wife Luphiwo Mathunzi who is a musician. The couple met whilst Loyiso was performing Othello in Johannesburg, six years before they got married.

Ever since he joined Mzansi magic’s The Queen as Kagiso Khoza the son of Harriet Khoza who is a drug queen, he has been put on the spot and has had many fans admiring his acting skills. He is gradually becoming a role model for so many South Africans and if he keeps up his exceptional work he may become one of South Africans most loved actors.
