One SA Movement Chief Activist, Mmusi Maimane has objected act of resolving racial matters in South Africa through race differences. This is following EFF planned protests against Clicks SA.

The protests come with various demands made by the EFF in response to Clicks’ apology, after their racist advert on their site.

However, Maimane said South Africa is very racial divide and the only way to resolve division is only by non racialism approach. He added that it can’t be ignored that racial division affects lives of South Africans.

“We have a very deep racial divide. We cannot solve it by non racialism, we cannot ignore how race has affected lives in this country,” said Maimane.

Chief Activist said South Africa should aim for multi racialism and acknowledge the diversity of SAs. In addition, to continue to strive for ways to restore unity among divided races.

“What we must aim for is multi racialism, an acknowledgement of our diversity and a project that works to bridge our divides empathetically,” he said.

One South Africa is not going to be built on wishes. It will be built on the hard work of creating an environment that is empathetic, tolerant and patient.

“We cannot and must not commit to the divisions that are on the table. They are microwave options. We must do the work,” said Maimane
