The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Deputy President, Floyd Shivambu has addressed the media outside Clicks in Sandton City. EFF is calling on its members to shut down the health retail outlets over controversial advert posted on their website.
The EFF said they’re ready to act against any form of racism happening in South Africa. There are of the view that there is no any form of racism will be left without decisive actions towards it.
Shivambu said they are no going to allow any institution to be racist as if there is nothing wrong. He added that from now on once racist heads are raised they will act swiftly towards such acts.

“They must lose revenue, profits because of their racism. Most of these institutions think they can do like they used to do under colonialism or apartheid,” said Shivambu.
He added that no any form of racism shall be given a green light in this era of EFF. Shivambu said once Clicks opens, they will enter and no operations will be done until they meet all the EFF’s demands.
EFF leader Julius Malema, while addressing media at Mall of the North, Limpopo he said that all Clicks must close for the whole week.
According to Malema, they must suspend the staff who were responsible for commissioning advert and also the company responsible for the advert must be fired.
Malema has further said that no level of intimidation from SAPS or Clicks will stop them from protesting. He added that they require no permission from anyone to protests.
