The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) President, Julius Malema has issued instructions to the party members. The EFF is expected to close down Clicks retail stores on Monday.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) President, Julius Malema has issued instructions to the party members. The EFF is expected to close down Clicks retail stores on Monday.

This is following Clicks’ racial advertisement on their website few days ago, where they criticised African hair.

However, the EFF has issued instructions to the retail store, demanding for publicity of Clicks directors, employees who were commissioning the advert. They added that all the people who were involved in commissioning the advert to be dismissed with immediate effects.

On 04 September, EFF had given Clicks 24hours to meet the demands, however, they said should the demands not be met they will close down all Clicks store without further notice.

Malema on Sunday, has issued an order to the EFF to execute their initial plan to close down all retail stores on Monday.

“@Clicks_SA see you tomorrow. Fellow fighters and ground forces; ATTACK!!!,” said Malema.

Although, the retail store has apologised for what the advert has caused among fellow black South Africas. They stated that it was uncalled-for and they took it down with immediate effect.

But, the apology was taken for granted by the EFF, saying that something need to be done about the people who were involved in commissioning the advert.
