South African were left with their tongues wagging after learning that Kelly Khumalo was implicated in Senzo Meyiwa’s murder and this time around there’s evidence.

SurgeZirc SA learnt through City Press that part of the confession states that Kelly was bitter over Senzo going back on his word to marry her and defaulting on the huge amount of money that the goalkeeper had promised the singer.

The goalkeeper told Kelly Khumalo right in her eyes that he was no longer interested in marrying her as he loved his wife. The singer then rushed to plot the killing at a mall in Johannesburg.

The hitmen charged Kelly Khumalo an amount of R400 000 for the dirty deeds but she couldn’t meet up and only paid R250 0000.

After the meeting, the hitmen visited a well-known sangoma whom they asked to perform a ritual so that the hit would be successful. The healer confirmed these claims and also mentioned how the hitmen asked him for muthi that would give them the courage when they faced Meyiwa.

According to City Press, investigators have submitted the docket to prosecutors to obtain warrants of arrests for all implicated in the murder.

“We have a watertight case. We’ve managed to track down a firearm that was used to kill Senzo. The ballistic test results have positively linked the suspects to the murder, which we’ve established was premeditated,” said an insider.

However, no arrest has been made yet. The five alleged hitmen are currently serving time or awaiting trial for unrelated crimes.
