SA celebrities have joined the rest of the country to speak against the gender-based violence that has been going on recently. But come to think of it many of these monsters slowly start things off with mental abuse before physical abuse and the mental abuse needs to be called out early before it can manifest to the physical abuse. Actress Enhle Mbali has had enough of this and would like to destroy the abuse from its roots.
To anyone who’s confused to what is metal abuse, grab a cup of coffee and let us educate you. In simple terms, mental abuse is when women are constantly dragged, called names and being made to feel like they’re nothing as compared to their male partners. Mentally abuse breaks down barriers of self-love and self-esteem until there’s nothing left but low self-esteem, doubt and fear.
Actress Enhle Mbali has taken it upon herself to address the issue and call out anyone who might be mentally abused by their partner.
As difficult as it is for some, the actress and businesswoman pleaded with women to stop dating boys who objectify women and make them feel like they have the power to do as they please with them.
Enhle then pleaded with men to stop killing women and to stop any form of women abuse.
Mental abusers a not exempt from the femicide, even if u hit a woman once or twice your are a part of the problem. #femicidemustfall. Ladies remove yourself from these boys who objectify woman and feel they can do as they please. Do it for yourself nje!!!“
