Including four-player squads to Call of Duty: Warzone doesn’t seem to have met what the developers had in mind when they thought of doing it. Infinity Ward has rolled out an updated playlist for the battle royale brawler which brings back three-player teams with the four-player and one-man options.
Although the developer didn’t state what exactly prompted the shift in (Call of Duty: Warzone), it certain that this won’t apply to the alternative Plunder mode.
According to Rock Paper Shotgun explanation, larger teams have a number of consequences for gameplay. Though it can take longer to bring a squad together to play, most especially if you are looking to play with friends, and there will be fewer teams competing in any match.
Team cohesion will also be difficult. Although Trios might just represent the sweet spot for many players, and it won’t be shocking if Infinity Ward recognized that more quickly.
