Carmen van Wyk wants the suspect to reveal the whereabouts of her daughter since she is still missing. The seeking for missing Tazne van Wyk proceeds around Elsies River after the kidnapper was apprehended in the Eastern Cape.
Moehydien Pangaker prime suspect was arrested in Craddock on Monday night. The 54-year-old man is believed to have kidnapped the 8-year-old in Elsies River two weeks ago.
The arrest of the culprit is a big improvement in the investigation but it gave little joy to Carmen van Wyk as her daughter has still not been found.
“I’m glad that they found him but I’m still paralyzed not knowing where my daughter is. They only told me that they found him but there’s no news of my daughter.”
Van Wyk has pleaded to the kidnapper to reveal to the police the whereabouts of her daughter.
Tazne was last seen on 7 February when she went to a close-by tuck shop across the road from her family home in Elsies River.
Moehydien Pangaker resided in that area.
The kidnapper started living with his family after he was out on parole.
