It has been nothing but drama as South Africans boycotted Burna’s coming to SA. The social media protest was spearheaded by AKA.

South Africans protest against the Nigerian rapper coming to SA for the show as he had tweeted in September during the xenophobic attack, that he would never step his feet in SA till the government does something about it.

African’s Unite concert which had Burna Boy as one of the line-ups was finally cancelled and Supa Mega couldn’t have been more excited. He took his excitement to twitter.

Well, it was not long after the announcement of the cancellation that the Grammy awards dropped the list of their nominees.

Fortunately for the Nigerian rapper, his name was on the list. The Fela In Versace hitmaker comment was no were to be seen as congratulations flooded.

A fan quickly poked AKA to recognise Burna’s achievement. Knowing Kairo’s daddy to be a changed man he congratulated the Nigerian star.
