It’s been a huge debate on social media regarding tribalism. Well, Anatii just sealed the seemingly unending debate.
Yeyi, amaXhosa afikile, maXhosa afihlile guys!!! We might not want to acknowledge it or say it out loud but, shame, they’ve represented our nation.
I am talking of the likes of Busiswa, Mampipi, Zozibini Tunzi, Siya Kolisi ndibala nton na?
Now, let’s place focus on Anatii, the local rapper Anatii won the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award at the Soul Train Awards show for his contribution to “Brown Skin Girl” by Beyoncé.
The awards show was hosted by Tisha Campbell & Tichina Arnold and the duo had a “Pose” inspired opening number with House of Evangelista mother M.J. Rodriguez making a guest appearance.
Wizkid also shares the award with the “Wena” rapper along with other contributors including Jay Z and Queen Bey.
A big congrats to him and on behalf of the nation we are proud of our fellow Xhosa brothers and sisters for making 2019 their year and sharing it with us.
