Redesigned Microsoft edge logo is an addition to the new experience the company is bringing to the internet. After it developed a new Chromium-powered engine, it has redesigned the browser logo to blend with what is coming.
When you look at the new logo you’ll notice that the “E” is still there, though you may need to look intently to notice, but it’s evident that Microsoft would rather you not associate the new app too closely to the days of IE-only web pages and glaring security holes.
Microsoft’s Chromium-based Edge has launched since August, but we are not sure when the finished version will roll-out. The Verge stated that Microsoft’s developer- and IT-intended Ignite conference will start on November 4th.
We’re looking to see if the company will formally launch the browser that represents a sea change in Microsoft’s approach to the web. Until then lets wait!!
