Ben Foster (Goalkeeper) was denied a brilliant headed draw in stoppage time as Chelsea fought even harder for victory at Watford to secure third position in the Premier League table.

Chelsea scored the opener after five minutes of start when Jorginho’s well targeted pass located and assists England international, Tammy Abraham to seal his 10th goal of the season.

Goalkeeper Foster made two major stops to deny Frank Lampard’s side from sending in more goals before the break as he stopped Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount as well.

Foster failed to stop Pulisic following up his hat-trick against Burnley last weekend with another hat-trick goal as the American tucked in Abraham’s low pass.

Struggling Watford, who are still at the bottom of the Premier League and are still in dare need of their first league win this season, saw a rare light when Gerard Deulofeu tucked in a video assistant referee-awarded penalty, which is his first goal of this season.

Watford nearly sent in an equalizer when Foster’s header deep in injury time was brilliantly clinched by Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who triggered celebrations among his team-mates with the very last action of the game.

After-all, the host side couldn’t match a revived and soaring Chelsea who has so far recorded a fifth successive away victory in the league, and a total club-record equaling seventh away win in all games.

Chelsea can still slip back into fourth behind Leicester, who face Crystal Palace on Sunday and have a superior goal difference. But it was a nice step forward for the Blues who are currently two points behind second-place and Premier League title defender, Manchester City.
