Michy Batshuayi sent in equalising goal for Chelsea, who had won their last seven matches, with an impressive run from the halfway line and finish from outside the box.

The Manchester United, England striker, Rashford stole the match with a swerving and well calculated 30-yard free-kick.

The quarter-final draw will happened on Thursday at about 08:45 GMT.

United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer named a strong side, stating that he intends “keep the momentum going,” with 19-year-old Brandon Williams the only unfamiliar youngster to start.

This appears to have worked out well following their winning for a third match in a row, all away from home, after a run of six matches with not even a win.

Scott McTominay had attempted an opener already when Rashford sent Willy Caballero the wrong way from the spot.

The Blues made six changes from Saturday’s win at Burnley and doesn’t seems to be in form from their look. Christian Pulisic, who scored a hat-trick at Turf Moor, looks all the way powerless compared to what he did at the last game, although he did pull out a little stunt in the second half.

We found Batshuayi’s equalising goal a powerful one as he flicked Caballero’s long kick on with his head, before dropping Harry Maguire for pace and shooting home from 25 yards.

But Rashford, 22, stole the match with a well-placed free-kick.
