Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale is very comfortable at Madrid as ”he has never talked about moving,” says Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.
Gareth Bale, 30, was ready to join Jiangsu Suning in the summer, but the transfer deal didn’t work when Real demanded that the Chinese club pay a transfer fee.
Following the deal collapse, Bale has appeared in seven club matches in 2019-20, netting two goals.
“If he can train, he trains and if he can play, he plays. In fact, he’s played a lot of games – he’s never talked about leaving,” said Zidane.
“Bale is a player who puts in a lot of effort and trains well. He’s important for this squad and for the club.
“There’s a lot of talk and a lot of things said. When he’s ready and 100%, we’ll see. He’s focused on playing well for the team.”
Then Real Madrid paid a world record of £85.3m to bring Bale from Tottenham in September 2013.
While at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid have claimed the Champions League four good times, and have won the Club World Cup three times, Uefa Super Cup three times, as well as La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana.
