Scott McTominay sent home the opener seconds following a stunning reaction save from the Canaries goalkeeper to deny Anthony Martial from close range shot.

Next, Video Assistant Referee (VAR) then awarded embattled Man United a penalty for a Ben Godfrey hand ball on Daniel James, with Krul stopping Marcus Rashford’s kick.

That not withstanding, Rashford netted with Manchester United’s next attack as he was left in acres of space room by slacking Norwich defence squad.

Man United who now seats on seventh position in the Premier League table were awarded a second penalty by the VAR for a Todd Cantwell foul. Martial took the kick and it went the other way, and again Krul guessed correctly.

Norwich, who will remain in the relegation zone after the fatal defeat had a number of chances to impress but point hungry Manchester United refused and concluded the match when Martial clipped the ball over Krul after a good passing move with Rashford.

The Canaries netted a late consolation goal via substitute Onel Hernandez, who took the ball off McTominay before running at Man United’s defence and striking past David de Gea to launch a record of the first Cuban-born football player to score in a Premier League game.
