Is This The End Of the Road For Uyajola 9/9 And Jub Jub?

“Whilst we do not exercise editorial control over third-party channels, which have fully independent editorial and content policies, we are in discussions with the channel about this particular complaint and will respond accordingly to the BCCSA.”

OHHH NO!!! What has Jub Jub done this time? Just when we got happy that Uyajola 9/9 hired him after serving his jail term viewers get angry at him.

The disgraced rapper Jub Jub is a presenter of the latest scandalous show, Uyajola 9/9 which airs every Sunday on Moja Love. The show basically allows frustrated partners the opportunity to find out if his or her other half is cheating or not.

The show is based on the American TV series Cheaters and has been on screens since May but the viewers are not impressed and want the show off air.

The past Sunday the Uyajola 9/9 viewers believed that it was the worst scripted and uncoordinated of all shows as it promoted gender-based violence, foul language and public indecency. The viewers took it to social media and threatened to report the show to the BCCSA little did we know that it was not mere threats, they took action and reported the show. Watch the footage that had the whole country disgusted below:

In this episode, a woman assaulted her husband for allegedly cheating and the woman he was allegedly cheating with joined in. The man did not receive help until later on in the altercation.

BCCSA registrar Shouneez Martin confirmed to Surge Zirc that they’ve received complaints were gender violence, violence, and language.

“At this stage I can confirm that we have received complaints and that we will consider the complaints as soon as we receive MultiChoice’s response on the matter.”

She would not be drawn on the number of complaints, saying that number would be listed in her ruling.

MultiChoice group executive for corporate affairs Joe Heshu confirmed the broadcaster had received a complaint and said it was working with Moja Love to respond to the BCCSA.

“MultiChoice can confirm that it has received a complaint from the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of SA (BCCSA), with regards to the recent episode of Uyajola 9/9, which aired on independent channel Moja Love on Saturday, 28 September 2019.

“Whilst we do not exercise editorial control over third-party channels, which have fully independent editorial and content policies, we are in discussions with the channel about this particular complaint and will respond accordingly to the BCCSA.”

Surge ZIrc attempted getting hold of Moja Love with no success. I hope this won’t lead to the show being cancelled, OMG what’ll become of Jub Jub.
