As a lot head out for elections today, hundreds of South Africans found themselves waiting in the queues for longer than expected. Pearl Thusi found herself being among the citizen who had to wait.
What prolonged the queues was that most voting stations ran out of ballot papers. Pearl Thusi whose voting station is in Sandton went out with all the excitement to vote. The Radio and TV personality said though she was not sure who she will be voting for, her ward looked like it was going to be taken by the DA.
We are not sure how it she came to such a conclusion. As Pearl went to the voting queue she was told that they had run out of ballot papers. She stormed out of the voting station, fuming in anger she expressed how disappointed she was with the government and the IEC.
“I am very disappointed in the government system and I am very disappointed in the IEC….. this is ridiculous how can you run out of ballot paper in Sandton”

We hope she will go back to her voting station.
