Honda would be accepting pre-order from US buyers for its smart looking e prototype model. The Honda adorable e Prototype was seen first two years ago at the Frankfurt motor show in Geneva. Honda automaker unveiled a closer to production prototype that still looks exactly like the original concept car and announced that in addition to starting production by the end of 2019, its would also take reservations for the tiny lovely car.
The e Prototype is a rear-wheel-drive, the tiny car is also known as the Honda Urban EV Concept. It has a range of 124 miles and can charge from dead to 80 percent in about 30 minutes. It limited range has to do with size and use case. The small size car explains how small the battery is, but it’s not a problem since it’s mainly meant to be use in urban environments.
The tiny e prototype has a retro-chic exterior and the interior is a cross of wood paneling and the latest technology of it, which gives the car a surprisingly stylish dashboard that mixes what we love about the past and that which we expect from modern day cars.
A report from auto analyst:
”One of the more bold design elements of the vehicle is placing the charging port directly on the bonnet underneath a black door. The door itself acts as a design element that highlights the car’s means of energy.”
Whao!! The e Prototype will replace car side mirrors with cameras. The sample has it, but we aren’t deep sure if the cameras will come with the final car. We are thinking that if they do end up in the production vehicle, they’ll be an option.
While having the press conference, Honda’s senior vice president at ‘Hondas Motor Europe’ Tom Gardner announced that by 2025 all European auto sales would be electrified. The e Prototype is part of the plan.
The motor vehicle company is saying that the car is for the European market only, this is not a good news at all. We’re also thinking that you can reach out to Honda and request nicely for them to bring the e Prototype to the US. You must just try first.
