In a world where everything is smart with technological features, why should bra be left out? So a company called Soma has come out with a bra that supports Bluetooth connectivity and has sensors that can guide you choose the right size of bra for you.

And this smart Soma bra, called Somainnofit bra, along with the technology that makes it smart is on display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 that is currently underway in Las Vegas.

The bra connects to an app that spits out the wearer’s “accurate” bust size — and a lineup of Soma bra that come in that size, of course. Somainnofit will be available on Soma’s website starting January 8th and in stores on January 23rd. It’s launching with a sale price of $25, plus a $25 credit toward a new Soma bra, but it’ll regularly cost $60.

Soma is surely trying to find a solution to a problem, which we think they have got with this invention. Trust women when they say that finding the right size of bra is the biggest challenge of their life. Just recently a study by Sports Medicine Australia and the Breast Research Australia (BRA) team revealed that 85 per cent of women lack knowledge on bra fittings while 88 per cent of teenagers wear poor-fitting bras.

And then wearing a wrong size bra has its own disadvantages. It not only causes discomfort but also leads to multiple health problems in ladies. Soma President Mary van Praag says that solution isn’t cutting it for most women. She says 75 to 80 percent of women are wearing bras in the inaccurate size, so this bra will help them find their exact size.

“Given the fact that so many women are wearing the wrong size bra, and so many women will tell you they’re just not comfortable or they don’t feel like they’ve found the bra that actually works for them, that there is a need for a better solution,” she say at the CES “And technology is the answer to a lot of things that we didn’t think needed technology.”
