Two Men Killed At Ventersburg Tavern Following Pool Game Argument

A 37-year-old man has been arrested after two men were shot dead during an argument over a pool game at a local tavern in Ventersburg. The deadly incident occurred on Saturday night at approximately 9:30 PM.

Police reports state that officers arriving at the scene found one victim, aged 41, near the tavern’s entrance, while a 29-year-old man was discovered inside. Both were declared dead at the scene.

Suspect Flees and Returns with Firearm

Investigations indicate that the confrontation began while the three men were playing pool. Sources say the suspect left the tavern after a confrontation with the victims but returned shortly afterwards armed with a firearm, opening fire on the two men.

The motive behind the argument is still under investigation. Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is currently in police custody.

The 37-year-old is expected to appear at the Ventersburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, facing charges of murder. Police continue to investigate the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
