13-Year-Old Girl Escapes Attempted Kidnapping In Grassy Park

In a harrowing incident that has left the community of Grassy Park in shock, a 13-year-old girl narrowly escaped an attempted kidnapping and assault last Thursday. The incident occurred on Le Grange Avenue, where the young victim was attacked by four men driving a white Toyota Etios.

The attackers, described as coloured males with one having a face full of piercings, attempted to abduct the girl as she was walking home.

Despite being stabbed in the head with an unknown object during the struggle, the brave girl managed to escape and seek safety within her residence, forcing the assailants to flee the scene.

Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Malcolm Pojie, confirmed that a case of attempted kidnapping is under investigation. The victim was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and is now recovering from her injuries.
